The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a youth development organisation that provides an opportunity for young people aged between 13 and 18 to engage in activities related to the Australian Defence Force. Founded in 1941, it is one of the longest-running youth programs in Australia and has grown significantly since its inception. Cadets participate in activities such as drill, aircraft recognition, marching and physical fitness. They also take part in adventurous activities such as rock-climbing, abseiling and orienteering.
AAFC cadets gain valuable experiences that will help them to develop lifelong skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication.
